The AD7865ASZ-1 accepts a wide range of analog input voltages, including ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, 0V to 2.5V, and 0V to 5V. Additionally, the analog inputs are protected against overvoltage, allowing input voltages up to ±20V (within certain limits) without damaging the device or affecting ongoing conversions.
The conversion time per channel is 2.4 microseconds, and the track/hold acquisition time is 0.35 microseconds. The device also offers hardware/software selection of the channel sequence for conversion, providing flexibility in configuring the conversion process.
The AD7865ASZ-1 operates in two modes: Reading Between Conversions and Reading after the Conversion Sequence. These modes allow for efficient data acquisition and processing.
