The AD8310ARMZ is a complete, fast, voltage-output logarithmic amplifier (log amp) from Analog Devices (ADI), specifically designed for DC to 440 MHz operation. It offers a dynamic range of up to 95 dB and uses the progressive compression (successive detection) technique to provide a high degree of linearity and stability. With a single-supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V and a typical current consumption of 8 mA, the AD8310ARMZ is extremely energy-efficient.
The amplifier features a multistage demodulating design, capable of driving up to 25 mA into a grounded load in under 15 nanoseconds, making it suitable for high-speed applications. It also includes a fast-acting CMOS-compatible enable pin for easy control.
The AD8310ARMZ is housed in an 8-pin MSOP package and is compliant with EU restrictions on the use of certain hazardous substances.
